I bought a used 360 slim that was working. I brought it home, turned it on, and it shut down within minutes due to insufficient ventilation. I noticed that the fan never spins. I took it apart, vacuumed it, blew air into it, and even replaced the fan. It still doesn't spin. It's not bound up at all. It will spin if I turn it with my finger. The original fan would literally move like the second hand on a clock. It would just tick along. The replacement fan doesn't move at all, so I think power is not getting to the fan? Everything looks good on the inside. I know I could just trash this thing for what i paid for it, but now I'm obsessed with getting this fan to work. I've heard I could jump power from another source within the xbox, but haven't seen a tutorial on how to do that, specifically for the slim model. Any suggestions?! Thank you!
