Xbox One Xbox One Headset Adapter Won't Ship Until 2014

Ugh really? I LOVE using turtle beaches and now I can not use it with the Xbox one? WHAT? I hope they fix this problem because I am not the only one in this world that is mad...

Hopefully this problem catches Microsofts attention because to them it may be small but to us gamers, it is a HUGE one.

You CAN use your headsets for game audio and chat but chat is for the most part hard to here, you use your Kinect to talk to them (except Ghosts seems to not recognize the Kinect as a mic).

My X12's didn't come with optical but b/c I bought a DSS1 a few months ago for 7.1 processing I can use it, but it provides the audio in Dolby Pro Logic IIx (I think its 5.1) the default though is Dolby Digital 7.1 on the 360. If you don't want to shell out $100+ for a new headset and don't have optical then just buy this for $45. Do not buy the DSS2, it is only 4 adjustable speaker settings, no 5.1/7.1

That is kind of a bummer, but 2014 isn't that far away so it isn't a complete let down. I think I will be able to sustain without for the mean time.

I understand Microsoft has a deal with Turtle Beach, but the headset adapter needs to be rushed through ASAP. Xbox Live is becoming a lonely place and using the included mic or Kinect simply isn't a decent option. Everything works on PS4, including my Astro's so it's time to step up and get that cheap-to-manufacture piece of plastic on the shelf. This, I feel is the biggest drawback from the otherwise fantastic Xbox One. I've tried modding the included chat mic, but I can't get it to work.

Oh, I think I can suffice with the ones that come with the console at the moment.

I've already modded my stock Xbox one headset. I just disassembled the headphone and hooked the wires up to a 2.5mm female jack. All I have to do is plug my wired headset cord from my turtle beach PX5 headset into the jack and I'm ready to role. Everytbi g works flawless and it only cost me 2$. If u have the know how u can save yourself big $$.
