Xbox One Xbox One Sales Pass 3 Million Worldwide (Updated)

I'm surprised to see so many sold already. Many people have posted everywhere saying they were waiting to get it. I think this new generation is going to reach some big achievements, fast!

Even though Microsoft isn't doing as good as Sony but passing the three million mark in just a couple of months is still a pretty impressive feat. The race isn't over yet, we won't know until at least the Xbox is released worldwide. Who knows, maybe there will be jump in sales this year.

True enough. Xbox hasn't been available to Asia. Well, at least officially. Here in my country, I'm already seeing European Xbox One's being sold everywhere. But an Asian version has yet to appear. We'll see.

I know right? I'm very surprised with this new generation. It's like the crowd of this generation anticipated the releases so they're really going for it. This really surprised me a lot. Cannot wait to see what else this generation can achieve.,

I wonder what those critics, the ones who claimed console gaming was already dying, are thinking now. I laugh at the fact that they were so solid on their notion that console gaming was getting eliminated down thanks to the mobile gaming market but it seems that as we hear more about the next-gen selling at these figures, it already shows the market is dynamic.

We;'re seeing big numbers sprout out just months after the launch. It surprises me a lot. Can the Wii U catch up? We'll see but damn, PS4 is about to reach the Wii U's lifetime goals. Nintendo's got to do something.

Well, well surprising indeed. PS4 managed to pull a fast one but still 3 million is still a big number for the Xbox One. This generation pulls a lot of surprises. 2014 has just begun so let's see what the two companies can really do now.

I guess it's hard for Wii to catch up withthe sales. Now that these two new consoles are dominating the gaming industry.

Yeah, you're right. Nintendo's going to have a lot in their hands if they want to catch up in the console wars. Handheld side, they're doing good. But they have to do something if they want to stay relevant and strong in the console wars.

I know it's tempting but there is no reason to worry about how this compares to Sony. What this does say is that MS has started building a huge install base which ensures third parties will stay with them. That's all that matters, and it's reassuring to know the One is here to stay.
