The jiggly tits and cute anime faces will be missed. I think it's only because DoA5U came out very recently, though, no? It's too soon for a DoA6.
MGS wasn't really that exclusive. MGS1 got released on PC. MGS2 got released for original Xbox and PC. Must have not done well on those systems (probably bad ports, I know PC is a bad port don't know Xbox) so they didn't port MGS3. MGS4 was, supposedly, because the game has a lot of data that would have been hard to fit into the 360's discs (6gbs at the time I think) so they didn't bother. That's without considering the original Metal Gear games started on MSX. They do have favoritism for Playstation, but not really exclusive.
Kingdom Hearts is by Square-Enix and Square-Enix is a money-hungry beast. They released Final Fantasy XIII on multiplatforms because it was more profitable, same is happening now with KH3. They were also sticking with Nintendo when they were Squaresoft, the Playstation exclusivity probably happened because fitting multi-disc PS1 games on N64 cartridges would have been impossible and Gamecube also had 1.4gb discs vs the PS2's 4gb discs. Other than that, Kingdom Hearts on handhelds has been mostly on Nintendo systems, simply because they sell better than Sony's. So yeah, it's all about the money for them, but they weren't really exclusive either.
I'm just saying you can't trust 3rd parties to keep making exclusives, unless it's known that they have an exclusivity deal with the company. I mean, Demon's Souls was a PS3 exclusive because Sony was helping with development and publishing in Japan but they screwed up localization so the developer created Dark Souls as a multiplatform series instead. (Sony must feel so dumb, they didn't realize Demon's Souls would end up being such a hit when localized)
I'm sorry this post ended up so long, though!
Whoa, whoa... Claptrap, easy there. You're so wrong about the KH sales part. The KH games in the Sony side sold a lot more than the Nintendo parts. The KH games sold around the million mark when they were on Sony whereas when KH went to the Nintendo, they sold less but they still sold good enough to have more games. But no, the Sony KH games sold better than the Nintendo parts.
