Xbox One EA Named Worst Company in America

They better pick their game up.
EA tells lies, they produce games that people don't like. This is the definition of worst company.
Now, they put no effort into their games, and is slowly dropping down.
In a few years, there will be no EA unless they start now.

Is the gaming industry similar to the music industry mechanics wise though? Like does EA, or any other flailing game-maker/company need just one big, major, new hit to bring them back to prominence? Just like a music label needs one big, new act to bring them back into the spotlight. Or a musician needs that one hit to make them a fan favorite again?

EA did put out some good games, a bit pricy and the company itself was awful. The coupon code was really annoying too.

Worst gaming company maybe, but worst overall? Come on that's ridiculous, they do have a lot of crap behind the scenes but the final games are pretty good. I think they're over critical.

EA has already lost out against 2K. It is only a matter of time before they get the NFL also.

If you guys remember the 2K football game. It was seriously ahead of any EA made NFL game released for a couple of years. Even, the players motion was more fluid them some of the newer ones!

Well then it sounds like EA hasn't been replenishing their pool of programmers and creators then. Gaming companies have to be run like Microsoft and Apple. Always hiring new talent to build bigger and better games.

Well, I guess this is what you get for killing the Sim City servers for a couple of weeks. Not to mention the new [insert sport game here] game every year. If I were EA, I'd push updates/DLCs to the game to avoid the extra cost of putting out a new boxed copy of your game. Also, the prices... not the worst. About as much as any other Xbox game you'd buy. But that's just my opinion.

EA games are extremely popular but that doesn't mean that it is on the right track. They have been churning out new versions of old titles for a long time now, it's high time that they decide to come up with something new. While I have nothing against their existing business model, innovation must remain their top priority so that they can retain the fan base that they have developed over the years.

EA don't care, this voting system was based off aspects that EA don't put effort into nor care about.

The only game I think I enjoyed from EA was a game called Black. It was a awesome game and probably the only one I would consider playing again and again.

I honestly dont know, even though EA still has a horrible reputation. The consumer still buys the games, the sales of Sim City were still very high even after the blunders of launch day, I think if people really want to see EA improve on their situation, as a group all together people need to be voting with their wallet so that they can can really send a powerful message to them that they have to step up their game and be listening to what the consumer wants and stop us from jumping through all these hoops to increase revenue.

Gamers love to game though. I think in general, Americans put up with a lot of crap from big companies like high prices, or drop in quality because there are things, and luxuries of life that we really feel we need. So I think this is why EA can get away with so much faulty behavior.

I can agree. I mean with large companies releasing their games at 60 bucks a pop, it's a bit annoying. Also, the "Game A Year" thing is going to kill a game's quality. I think the companies should stop think only about the money right now and start thinking about making a bigger fanbase of that franchise/company.

It's never about fanbase it's always about the money. They will jack up game prices to $70 if they have to. At the end of the day, they'll just lower a price somewhere else to make up for the anger that will be directed towards them. But companies will always sell attachments for what you need at a high price. And just like Blu Ray DVD's are nothing without a Blu Ray player, what's an X-BOX console without games for it?

EA Sports has definitely gone to a pitfall. They have one of hte best games before like NBA Live but suddenly they went down.

2k Sports on the other hand took over and NBA 2k series just really impresses everyone.

The only cash cow that EA has left is EA Sports, which will eventually flounder in my opinion. The current FIFA is terrible and I'm sure the current Madden isn't that progressive. If EA loses those contracts for these sport games, the whole company will be in trouble, because that is what keeps their stock afloat. How EA treated Origin, Mass Effect and Sim City is pretty gross and just makes me sick to my stomach that they get to make choices like that and abuse their customers.

If EA never had exclusive rights to making the NFL game. We would have had way better games then what was given. If you don't believe me then look up 2k5 compared to current madden games. Yes, tons of people are still comparing madden to the old 2k5 game!

That alone tells you how far ahead of its time was 2k. It is a wonder how they got a exclusive contract.

their games are unfinished and overpriced, i don't see why people eat their crap year after year after year.

Probably because of the name and promotion. "EA Sports:It's in the game." That's probably one of the most well known video game slogans in existence. It's stood the test of time, and it's caught on and stayed with many gamers not surprisingly.
