Xbox One Microsoft considering making digital games cheaper

Yup, we gotta see how the sales go for Xbox One. It might go wrong, it might go right. But whatever the case, MSFT may see something spark from this.

Yeah, I agree. This is a new thing for MSFT since I never saw them go low for digital pricing. First, they raised it up months ago in UK and now, they're lowering it. I see the Steam coming.
 
Definitively something to look forward to. I guess with the changes they plan on making they plan on redeeming themselves.

Well, MSFT is getting good. Now we need to see the sales numbers with this move. I think we'll see in the coming weeks.
 
More sales for Microsoft then. This is definitely one thing that they did that I've loved so far.
 
It's wonderful that they are doing this. I hope they don't base their research on how well this game does digitally with the price cut though. It's definitely my least favorite of the launch titles that I bought. Actually, I don't own it anymore.
 
Agreed. How about a discount on digital copies of Titanfall?
 
seen rise was at a discount on the dashboard.

i can see them doing this like steam/amazon do... after 6/12 months knocking the price down will encourage digital purchases and keep titles selling.. this will also put a hurting on gamestop and used outlets. no way they will be able to keep up with the price drops.

They should really do that. maybe at least a 20% discount.
 
20% should be enough for a discount, well not counting on it though. We have to wait for more details about the discounts.
 
Still depends on what they can negotiate on. We just have to wait for good news from microsoft.

It's already happening. Well it's not fully implemented since there are just a few titles on digital.
 
Honestly, thinking more about it, Microsoft or Sony starting to compete with digital pricing is gonna be fantastic for consumers. No matter which company takes the first step, the other will be pretty much forced to follow suit.

Good news it is true. Haha. Well I've been looking at the marketplace and I've seen some discounted games on it. You better start checking on it as well. It's better if you see it first hand.

I hope they can implement the whole thing on every country that they have Xbox on. Well the prices should be implemented as well on all games.
